Today Sarah Sanders conducted a press briefing. What transpired illustrates Michael Ramirez’s point that there is no difference between the crazed comic Michelle Wolf and the crazed reporters who cover the White House for their various liberal outlets.
Ms. Sanders opened, as usual, by talking about some of the things going on in the White House and around the country:
Today in the Rose Garden, President Trump continued the tradition of celebrating the National Day of Prayer. The President also signed an executive order to ensure that all faith-based communities have strong advocates throughout his administration.....
Do you think the reporters who cover the White House were interested in any of those topics? Of course not! Stormy Daniels is, apparently, the great issue facing the Republic. Here are the questions the reporters asked Ms. Sanders, with only a handful of relevant ones omitted:
Q Can you explain why the President, when he spoke — when he answered questions from reporters a few weeks ago about the $130,000 payment from Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels, why the President was not truthful with the American people and with the people in this room?
The White House press corps is utterly deranged by its hatred for President Trump and its determination to help its party crush his administration. A lot of people, sadly, aren’t very good at their jobs. But I doubt that you could find, anywhere in our vast country, a group of people who are as terrible at their jobs as the members of the White House press corps.

I watched some piece from two weeks ago, and the journalists wanted to use the word ‘porn star’, and I just sat there....wondering how you’d define such a person and their status in life. What....maybe they’ve done three adult movies and qualified as a ‘star’?

The White House Press Corp reminds me of how Sheila Jackson Lee questioned Diamond and Silk in the House Judiciary Committee hearings. Lee would get an answer as clear as a bell and would totally disregard it because it did not fit into her preconceptions.

When I’ve met people who work in the White House, with a very few select exceptions, they’ve been unimpressive people who think that having a government job at the White House somehow makes them important and unique. It’s very sad, as are they.

I sincerely hope that Kanye will not lose heart in his effort to alert this nation to it’s insanity. He is unique in that he is a member of the very rich, a black celebrity married to a white celebrity, and he is not beholden to powerful government or media figures, all traits commonly found in those trying to set up an American dictatorship through overturning an election and forming a coup against the winner. He is an insider in that group, yet he is not one of them, which is often what has to happen to change horrible situations. We are in dangerous times, where the powers which have held real power over America for many years, see their control threatened by the election of Donald Trump, and it would seem that the little people who publicly supported President Trump during his campaign are having their lives and families destroyed by the Mueller team, not because they did anything wrong, but simply because they worked for him. Rush Limbaugh made it clear in his analysis that the purpose of that is to send a message to anyone who might want to support an “outsider” for President in the future will be destroyed by the very wealthy and powerful who see themselves as owning this government and it’s judiciary. In addition, Rush believes that the goal is not just to impeach DJT, but to ruin him, his business, his children, and to take his wealth, as a message to any other billionaire, not a member of the political class, who might consider a run for office in America. How dangerous is this? Well, it could lead to a civil war which has the potential to end America forever. It is hard for the people enslaved to a government check or to a hand to mouth job, most of whom are younger or middle-aged, to know history and to realize what is going on. I believe Kanye West gets it. So many of us wonder why our Department of Justice and our Congress, owned by Republicans are not seeing the danger and are not doing their job. Well, perhaps they know the dictatorial fix is in and they do not want to end up penniless in a future gulag. Yesterday, we had a National Day of Prayer and I had the privilege to hear an awesome, very elderly woman, in a nursing home, pray so powerfully and eloquently for restoration in our country, still so full of great people. If Kanye and our elderly can stay on the job, who knows what could happen. Sometimes, God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.
