“Your post was much better than the article”

Thanks. Apparently some of us cannot grasp satire/lampooning, however.

Now there is a simple resolution to this problem. It will save money and probably reduce crime in Mexifornia. Simply sentence the felon to xx years at Harvard and have the gubmint pay the university.

They also get a more useful education in prison than they do at Harvard.

So now Harvard has competition as a ‘finishing school for crime’?

Some have suggested sending the criminals to Harvard, why not just shortcut the process and send the Harvard students and faculty directly to prison?

Bull shit. Just set up some Andersonvilles and Camp Douglas’s all over the country. Buy casket futures.

Meanwhile, Sessions is focused on taking pain relief away from people in agony.

Oh, bullshit. People in prison are anti-social scofflaws, people who refuse to take part in civilization and, through their various and continual malfeasances, try to do their little part to destroy it.

All Fentanyl Seizures in the State shall be distributed to our State Prisoners.

Problem Solved

How much cheaper it would be to not let in illegals.

“The state prison guards are well paid in CA. $4k-$6k per month”

That’s not all that much in California unless it is a remote prison.

Actor Ronald Reagan said in October 1964 The Speech: “Now the government has turned its attention to our young people, and suggests that it can solve the problem of school dropouts and juvenile delinquency through some kind of revival of the old C.C.C. camps. The suggested plan prorates out to a cost of $4,700 a year for each young person we want to help. We can send them to Harvard for $2,700 a year. Of course, don’t get me wrong—I’m not suggesting Harvard as the answer to juvenile delinquency.” His wisdom grew with passing decades and use of professional speech writers.

Cheaper to just send them all to Harvard. Problem solved.

That's for a different class of criminal

And is still worth every penny to keep them locked up. It is amazing how much expensive damage even a non-violent criminal can do in a year of crime. Smashing car windows, wrecking cars, damaging homes, etc. Now add in all the cost of police time, lawyer time, judges. It is usually much cheaper to let them rot in jail. I have no clue why it costs so much, but it is still less expensive then letting them wreck havoc on the street.

I mean what is the insurance cost when just one group drives a truck through a store front window and steals the ATM machine. That is a big bill to rebuild the front of the store, the lost merchandise that gets crushed and broken, and then the cost to buy another ATM machine and have it installed. Even if it is all on the insurer, it is still a butt load of money.

How about all those glass cases that have to get fixed when somebody drives a truck through the front of a jewelry store and then smashes all the cases and steals the jewelry. The jewelry is the lions share of the loss in this case, but it is still really expensive to rebuild the store to original use and function.

Nope, it is much cheaper to let these asshats rot in jail then to pay the constant expenses they rack up when they commit crimes in public.

They’d probably save money if they stopped rewarding criminals, and cut out the filet mignon and French champagne.

But this is California, after all.
