Hillary Clinton was back in the news last week thanks to a Sunday speech at the PEN America World Voices Festival, which sounded custom-designed to give Donald Trump a nosebleed.
All told, her PEN performance was cool, crisp, and destined to make news -which it did. Which left me wondering: Isn’t there someone who can convince this accomplished, inspiring, barrier-breaking superwoman to stop whining about 2016?
Someone? Anyone?
Yes, what happened to Clinton was awful. She did not merely lose the presidency, she lost it to an opponent singularly unqualified to hold the office.
But when it comes to the national political landscape, she has not yet reached the point where she can sound off in a way that doesn’t reek of self-pity and bitterness and rationalization. Until that changes, she should recognize the yuge favor she is doing the GOP - and, by extension, Donald Trump.
With that in mind, she really does need to stop. Just. Stop.

1) She’s not going away (until the Grim Reaper finally comes for her, which I suspect won’t be all that long).
2) She still had oodles of cash from the Crime Foundation to buy influence and favors.
The Dems have their hands full.
Too bad, democrats. They are stuck with her.
As much as the Dems want to get her out of the spotlight she will run again in 2020, and who in that party has the guts to stop her? It’s gonna be a Hillary vs an Obama acolyte like Kamala Harris or Cory Booker for the Democrat presidential nomination, and it will get very heated to say the least!
It still pisses me off when they talk about Trump being unqualified, as opposed to a woman who has been followed by scandals from her first job out of law school to her Sec of State tenure. She has excelled at nothing, except corruption by piling cash in the Clinton Foundation. She did nothing as a senator, caused havoc everywhere she went as Sec of state (unless you consider blatant bribery a success) failed as a wife and mother, yet she’s the accomplished one!

If my quick calculations are correct, Hillary in 2020 will be younger than Bernie Sanders was in 2016. So, oh yeah, I think she’ll run again.
And for two reasons. One, her shameless ambition is without limit. And two, it would get bribe money flowing back into the Clinton Foundation.
