Members of a migrant caravan have reached Tijuana, Mexico, where they were preparing for a Sunday showdown with American immigration officials. The administration of President Donald Trump has described the group as a threat, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions called the caravan as "a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system."
Nearly 20 attorneys from the United States were in the border city dispensing advice to the migrants as a healthy slice of the nearly 400 people who ventured north through Mexico from Central America planned to ask for asylum Sunday, according to Pueblo Sin Fronteras' Gina Garibo, who has been helping to guide the caravan.

This is so sick. They are on top of the border wall. On the American side, there are a ton of supporters saying "Welcome" and other nonsense. This is a mess. They say 100 people and then 400 people. But it looks to me in the thousands. We should not accept even 1 person. This is a travesty. The wall is worthless.

They should have done that decades ago. However, there is no way they will fire at these criminals. They will be welcomed with an open door. It is so sick. I can’t stand what is happening to this country. SOMETIMES, I envy those in their 70’s and 80’s who will be checking out soon.
I would put in an extensive mine field, and do it under the DoD budget as a legitimate military cost. Put a road on our side with very frequent patrols - ground and air. That border should be shut tight. Weapons live. We did this kind of border with North Korea and we dealt with it in Germany - it is not that hard.
I don’t know but clearly they don’t care. They live in their gated communities and have more money then God so they figure it won’t affect them. So disgusting.
And this is why you shoot them on sight..yeah I said it..these are INVADERS who are coming here NOT for a better life..they are coming here to suck off the Govt tit..food stamps, welfare, health care, this is why they are coming here.
You boneheads already HAVE “asylum” by default. It’s called “Mexico”.
This will expose the weakness of our laws and provide the impetus for a rapid-fire, border crashing. We are in trouble and if the GOPe refuses to address this mess, they are doomed and so is the nation.
This must be stopped. Many people have commented that they would like to help stop this but don’t know what they can do.
I agree. But they won’t shoot. I wish they would just to send a message. If they would shoot a few of them then I think the migration would stop or you would think it would.
Judges are the cause of this, followed by lawyers, followed by Congress. We are doomed.
Yep. Mexico kept quite a few of them, but sent a bunch back to their southern border. Not sure why they denied these thousands.
