Brad Thor, a bestselling author, said last week that he plans to challenge President Trump in 2020, "if no conservative steps up."
Thor, a conservative who has voiced criticism of Trump, made the announcement in a series of Tweets. According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, however, Thor has not filed to run for president.

Fiction author Brad Thor changed his story Tuesday about what he meant in an interview that ultimately got Glenn Beck suspended from SiriusXM radio.
Beck has been suspended after SiriusXM reviewed his conversation last week with Thor, who appeared to imagine some “patriot” stepping up and removing Donald Trump Trump from office — which several conservative outlets interpreted as a reference to assassination or a coup.
Thor went off the rails with his NeverTrumpism during the last primary.
He and Glenn Beck can suck eggs.

I voted for Bob Barr, he was the only eligible candidate on my ballot.

Oh yeah, he is very much so. He's the idiot whose interview comments got Beck suspended from Sirius/XM back in 2016 (pre-election). He feared that Congress wouldn't be able to block Trump and that "patriots would have to step up..."
There is nothing any so-called conservative ... can “challenge” Trump over in 2020. There is no one who could fill Trump’s shoes and fill a stadium and take any of his voters... there is no one who could even come close.
Maybe he can get Beck to run as his VP.
They do not get what Trump brings to the table for voters. They do not understand that what Trump is doing for the country is because he is a patriot and has a desire to help people.
It’s for sure he didn’t need to get into politics.. he had a good life and yet, he did for the sake of the country that obama and most of congress were selling down the tubes. They preferred special interest, lots of money and the power of the position, compared to doing anything for the people who work for a living and vote their conscience, hoping the “next one will keep the promises and save our nation”.. only to be disappointed.
In the Man Trump, we are not disappointed.. he is keeping his promises, amidst the worst onslaught any President has ever experienced before.. and all because he is not like them... and that is what he brings to the voting booth... hope and promise for our nation! There is no other.

Thor spoke on Beck’s show during the primary of the need for someone to “assassinate” candidate Trump. I quickly trashed copies of his books. He is an unstable, arrogant jerk.
