When I learned that the suspect in the Toronto van attack had apparently posted a Facebook message identifying himself as a foot soldier in what he called the incel rebellion, I was saddened but not at all surprised. As the keeper of a blog devoted to tracking the culture of misogyny online, I have been watching the incel subculture for seven years and I find its rise in the past several years to be nearly as disturbing as the recent rebirth of the neo-Nazi right.
Incel, as many Canadians have learned this past week, is short for involuntary celibate, and is the preferred moniker of a number of mostly young men united by a shared bitterness over their inability to persuade women to sleep with them. They let this fact define their entire lives, and devote much of their time online lashing out at the women who dont want them and picking over the supposed flaws in their own appearances that they think render them forever unlovable.
When you combine this sort of anger and self-pity, you often get violence. Four years ago, a man named Elliot Rodger murdered six in Isla Vista, Calif., in an attempt, as he explained in the 137-page manifesto he left behind, to take his retribution against women. Incels have embraced Saint Elliot as a martyr and role model and so, evidently, did Alek Minassian, who hailed the Supreme Gentleman Elliot Rodger in his Facebook post.
So is there any way we can prevent more tragedies such as this?
Remarkably, there have been some very patient normies thats how incels deem average people who have waded into these hateful spaces in an attempt to convince the obviously damaged incels who inhabit them to seek out the professional help...

The internet has made it easier for sub groups to find each other and stew. Yes, Incels is a thing, not to be confused with the MGTOW’s... Men Going Their Own Way. The difference being MGTOW’s are deciding to no longer engage with women, and Incels would like to engage, but can’t, hence the anger.
I think this must be their theme song....
Creep - Radiohead
When you were here before
Couldn’t look you in the eye
You’re just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
And I wish I was special
You’re so ....in’ special
But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo.
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here.
I don’t care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice
When I’m not around
You’re so ....in’ special
I wish I was special
But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo.
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here.
She’s running out again,
She’s running out
She’s run run run run
Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You’re so ....in’ special
I wish I was special
But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo,
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here.
I don’t belong here.
MGTOW is more about voluntarily removing yourself from a rigged game
rather than any woman-hating. Perhaps the best videos explaining it are Why Are Soo Many Men On A Marriage Strike?
and Men not marrying? How deep does "the problem" go?
I have less of a grasp on Incel, but it seems to me to be more like the guys who have been so beaten down and essentially despised by society that they feel utterly unwanted. Jordan Peterson cried about how it's so terribly sad that many young men never get any encouragement.
lol I love that song
But I understand why Radiohead doesn’t really like to play it live anymore.
Confuseus say,
“Woman marry richest man she can attract.
Man marry prettiest woman he can afford.”
/bad Charlie Chan accent
That video piqued my curiosity.
I might've been unduly harsh with the "I can't get laid because I'm a loser who spends all my time on the internet" viewpoint.
There is a legitimate argument that young men are having their place in society taken away and this is leading to a lot of confusion and resentment about what their roles are. And women are being sold a bunch of lies as well so they're also confused.
Someone tried that with me once.
Once.
Modern feminist's main goal is to impede male sexuality while at the same time, manumits their own.
The 80/20 rule is now the new norm.
The old system is dead.
Aside from muslims being muslims, as a society we ignore the new paradigm at our peril.
The problem for the "incels" is that they don't understand this, and they never learned how to cope with rejection.
Resorting to aggression is that immature way of dealing with rejection. I remember being rejected by young woment I was interested in when I was a teenager... and I coped with it in the only way I could think of: my parents had tree stumps on the outer edges of their property, and I had access to an 8-lb maul. When I graduated High School, they had far fewer stumps on their property. But then I went to college and grew up.
Interestingly, one of the hottest gals I've ever seen, my neighbor, is married to a mild-mannered skinny nice guy dweeb. At the end of the day, he was the one who tried his luck with her.
More snowflakes. In the past, an ugly man would just visit a prostitute.
These days visiting a prostitute is "engaging in sex trafficking" and getting caught would absolutely destroy one's reputation and employability.
Again, don't blame the snowflakes. Blame their parents.
And every woman who ever rejected the Toronto van guy has had her judgment vindicated.
Since it is true, why not believe it.
We may not be able to erase the hate, but we can restrict their hate speech, and that at least is a small step in the right direction.
Or castrate them. They will calm down after they are fixed.
