Then why did he hand them off?

And if I remember correctly, Comey said the Professor was more than a friend, he was his attorney and the memos were subject to attorney-client privilege.

Now, out of the clear blue sky, we find out that, somehow, the Professor had a free pass for FBI access.

“...the Professor had a free pass for FBI access.”

Has the Prof been fired from the FBI or is he still active?

take a minute and reread the piece from the perspective that comey IS an actor in a good movie:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

“Special Report” anchor Bret Baier noted that the employment agreement Comey signed with the FBI prohibits the disclosure of any information related to bureau files or acquired by virtue of his employment without prior written permission from the FBI.

“Did you have written permission?” Baier asked.

“No,” Comey said. “And I didn’t consider it part of an FBI file.”

But isn’t a memo of the FBI director’s conversation with the president of the United States considered “work product”? “No, it was not. It was my personal aide de memoire,” Comey said.

passing the personal aide de memoire could have been just another part of the plan? and Richman (as an FIBer contractor could have just been doing his job?

The Justice Department’s inspector general has opened an investigation into whether Comey leaked classified information when he disclosed the contents of the memos. A report is expected next month. In the Fox News interview, Comey also insisted he did not exonerate Hillary Clinton in the investigation of her mishandling of classified information well before she was interviewed. And he said he still does not know for a fact that the anti-Trump dossier, with information he once described as “unverified and salacious,” was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

isn't it known that small group members strzok & mccabe actually edited the wording to exonerate her?

there was reporting that the FIBers themselves had steele on their payroll. there was also Clown_American employee nellie ohr & GPS Fusion was a IC contractor. plus the recently disclosed DI FI associate kicked in $50mm

Comey disclosed to the Senate in a June 2017 hearing that he had “asked a friend of mine,” Columbia Law Professor Dan Richman, “to share the content of a memo with the reporter … because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”

in the long game sting, isn't this the only way the white hats could investigate & prosecute DS treasonous seditionist "enemies from within"?

Interestingly enough, the *president* has the authority to issue a security clearance to *anybody*—thanks to Bill Clinton. Maybe Obama did it retroactively.

If this is true, then wouldn’t the professer then be guilty of leaking?
