IMHO people in Mexico who stroll up to the border in order to file an application for asylum should be directed to file that application with the country they are IN. (And people who sneak in should obviously be sent back.) IIRC there was an article yesterday that pointed out that once they file the application they are housed at OUR expense to the tune of just shy of $130 PER DAY.
