"Justice has been done!" celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who represented some of Cosby's accusers, said on the courthouse steps. "We are so happy that finally we can say women are believed." I gave these women the benefit of the doubt until this scumbag beotch quote came up. I have a feeling the "Cos" is guilty but Allred has zero credibility and neither do most of her "clients" in general.

The incident with Andrea Constand was in 2004. She went to police but the DA declined to file charges. She filed a civil suit, Cosby was required to testify, admitted giving women drugs. They made a settlement in 2006. This became an issue in the 2015 DA election and a new DA was elected, who did pursue charges. This was only possible because of Pennsylvania’s unusually long 12 year statute of limitations. I think that Cosby is guilty. I am uncomfortable that he was required to testify against himself and later prosecuted using on that testimony.

It was a crime then. She wanted to file charges 10 years ago, but the DA refused, thinking he couldn’t get a conviction, and advised her to try to get justice in a civil suit. Fast forward to the story going public in 2014, and a new DA making the decision to charge him, just before the statute of limitations ran out.
