I don’t doubt that, but I think I’ve detected a trend in recent years where parole boards are cutting older defendants loose — even when the imprisoned guy doesn’t make much of an effort to get out — just to get them off their financial books.

Agree possible and likely. Cosby may just have a leg monitor and house arrest.....at his age I doubt he'll re-offend! But the victims will call 'fowl' if this is done. Women today want blood in the water!
