Here’s Why Jeff Sessions Might Be Playing 4-D Chess
bigleaguepolitics.com ^ | 4/25/18 | Larry Schweikart

(snip) --- On March 2, Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from “any existing or future investigations of any matters related in any way to the campaigns for President of the United States.” Everyone forgot the line that followed: “This announcement should not be interpreted as confirmation of the existence of any investigation or suggestive of the scope of any such investigation,” he added. But what he did not say was that the announcement should not be interpreted as denial of the existence of any such investigation.” The Swamp—and virtually all of the hysterical right that was conditioned to being stabbed in the back by its elected or appointed officials—merely assumed that no investigation was going on.

Surprise. In fact, Sessions inherited an ongoing investigation by the Inspector General Michael Horowitz. There was an investigation under way (perhaps many) at the very moment Sessions uttered those words. Horowitz had been, in the words of Arlo Guthrie, “oppressed, suppressed, repressed sitting on the Group W bench.” His legitimate investigations under the Obama regime had been squelched, sidetracked, or unceremoniously cancelled. Horowitz was one of those rare Washington creatures: a man who actually has a sense of honesty in his mission.

We’ve all been duped repeatedly think GOP elections where we thought we won because we took majorities. Or think Obamacare when we thought we’d killed it with SCOTUS. Democrats and GOP establishment have played the game better than us for years.

btw GOPe still fighting conservatives, Chris McDaniel in MS, Nick Polce in WI.

So you are going to agree with me that Rosenstein and Comey collaborated through third parties...Before Rosenstein wrote the memo that Comey should be fired?

And then AMAZINGLY Rod “the mole” Rosenstein decides a Special Prosecutor is need to investigate the Comey firing that his memo advocated and Russian-Trump collusion and everything else under the sun.

Thanks +You are welcome! What gets me is that the Mueller investigation was getting old, blunted and marginalized. The Trump administration was seeing daylight on this. Then along comes traitor Rosenstain who signed off on opening up a new avenue of attack. Done via the NY Southern District Federal Court via the raid on Michael Cohen law offices, hotel room and home.

Rosenstain should be fired ASAP and hopefully Jeff Sessions follows him out the door as he has been threatening to.

Absolutely. That has been my belief from the moment of Mueller’s appointment. I wouldn’t even know if third parties were necessary. What was to stop Rod and Robert from communicating more directly? Once Sessions recused, it wasn’t as if he was in control.

‘My name is Rod Rosenstein. I like threatening Congressmen, accepting bribes, authorizing illegal searches and seizures, and plotting to overthrow a sitting president. My friends and I can break any laws that we want because I run the DoJ, and it’s not like I’m going to prosecute myself.’

I think all our mysterious thoughts and ruminations about the end of all of this criminality are coming soon.

Let's all keep out fingers crossed and kick a few libs in the meantime.

Good luck with our country.

IF Sessions is playing that “4D Chess”, I wonder how many FReepers would be caught up in that Deep State Dragnet. There sure has been a lot of Sessions bashing and ridicule based upon what may just be a smug belief that the “Deep State” is omnipotent and rock solid.

Notice that already there are leaks about Michael Cohens business dealings. I saw one in the UK Daily Mail yesterday. No source was given or even lied about. So I have to figure this material came from the raid on his offices and home.

Agreed,my take was always for Sessions to clean house at the DOJ but to get rid of the Mule Team as well.

Politically, it would not be good for Trump to get rid of Mueller but he has to go. Otherwise he will hang in until NOV. which was always the plan.

This was never an investigation just another OP designed by those who design them so well. And, as we see now by the head of those who design take down ops so well: MB Mohammad Brennan.

They had to be behind it too much fell into place too fast and was then supported immediately by the mockingbird press. This is the game they have been playing for decades.

Is it?

President Trump seems to have no issues with firing those he deems inept or inadequate for the job. How many has Trump dismissed or forced out since his inaugural? Why, then, is Sessions still there? Do you seriously believe that Trump fears Congress? A Congress that has tried to sabotage Trump since BEFORE the election.

There were, and still are, Never Trumpers on FR. I suspect they inwardly gloat at the situation thus far and harbor a belief that their beloved swamp will endure.

My little backroom Twitter group, which is composed of some really talented investigators, has pretty much concluded Combover IS “that stupid.” Currently, we are thinking McCabre is the brains of the coup operation, and that Combover was merely a smooth talking guy the media liked. He was manipulated by McCabre.

That doesn’t mean Combover didn’t violate laws-—he did. Bigly. But he’s not that bright.

So far (and it’s just starting):

Two leakers jailed.
Five FBI agents demoted pending charges.
FBI director fired, pending charges.
FBI assistant director fired, pending charges.

We don’t know who has immunity among Deep Stroke, Pageboy, Combover, McCabre or High Priest. Consensus is that almost certainly Bill Priestap (High Priest) is cooperating, and that likely Deep Stroke and Pageboy cut deals.

The problem with Combover and McCabre is they are telling different stories, and almost certainly one will be given a deal to testify against the other.

Most of these people were on the criminal referral list sent to DOJ by Congress.

Sessions has FOUR separate investigations going: U1, emails, FISA, and election fraud; has one grand jury that we know of and almost certainly a second in Little Rock; has two prosecutors (Huber and Hiland), one in DC and one in Little Rock; the IG report is due out in two weeks; a THIRD IG report is due out later on FISA abuse. There is a separate House IG investigating the Awans.

There are still three congressional/senate committees (Senate Judiciary, Senate Oversight, House Judiciary) investigating the DemoKKKrats; and there is a separate FEC investigation of Cankles.

Actually, all of that makes sense: Comey isn’t “that bright”. I mean... didn’t he say he doesn’t remember where he was on election night? Every American with a pulse remembers where he was on election night.

We know he knows, and he knows we know he knows. But what a ridiculously pathetic Gore-esque lie! The fact that he thinks we’d buy that... truly astounding.
