First lady Melania Trumps menu for the state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte was described as froo-froo [sic] garbage by a conservative pundit, who suggested the fare was out of touch.
In a tweet, Erick Erickson mocked the menu selected by Melaniawho eschewed an event planner in favor of organizing the occasion herselfwhich included a rack of lamb and jambalaya...
This menu is why I could never be President: http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/in-the-know/384422-first-lady-releases-menu-details-for-macrons-state-visit I'd serve fried chicken and mashed potatoes with sweet potato pie for dessert. None of this unpronounceable froo-froo garbage.

Have a nice day now.
I hope not ... that pretty much sounds like my diet (except I prefer Whoppers, but not daily).
All told, I probably consume over 10,000 mg of sodium (approximately 4 teaspoons of salt) per day, with about three of them directly as table salt.
My blood pressure has always been about that of your average potato: about 105/65.
Erik is now a Godawful Gourmet! Maybe CNN can put him on, funnier than what they dish out now.
I’d prefer cheeseburgers and a shake myself, but I wouldn’t expect a formal White House dinner to serve them.
My Mom had to sometimes attend formal dinner functions. I asked her about it. “Eat before you go”, she said, “then you can rearrange the food on your plate, smile and pretend you don’t mind the fish eyeballs floating in the soup...”
A friend of mine raises sheep. He says if you cook lamb right, you can ALMOST get it to taste like beef. But his freezer is full of cow-meat.
It’s the fault of my computer. I only clicked one time and it came out 4 times.
And learn how to post a reply only once; three & frour times is overkill. ;^)

What is the point in trying to make lamb taste like beef? I am a beef eater but love the delicacy of lamb as well as the heavier taste of beef. Some people won’t eat wild duck or venison, but it is all in the cooking. If you know what you are doing with the meat you are cooking, it should all come out delicious.
