Each era of money grabbing chicken littleism came with its ponderous tomes of scientific speculation and outstretched palms for grants and taxes “for the future of the children”.
However it is reality that tends to push science off the page. I suspect that if some of the grant whores had actually made their case with solid science, Trump would be behind them 100%.
I also believe that if the jet set crowd really believed in the carbon ponzi scheme that is making them wealthy, they would be walking to their conferences, not riding in their fuel sucking personal jets.

You got that right. 7 months of running the heat and its not over yet. And that’s 60 miles north of Deblasio City.

One of the N reasons why journalists are journalists is that the closest they got to science in school or university was spelling the word.
If any of those “journalists” would like to talk real science, contact those of us with actual degrees and experience in the subject and we can then proceed to slice, dice, and puree their little two celled brains into nothingness.
Good point. These climate freaks and their Al Gore types always have some cause that has nothing to do with jobs, the economy, dealing with the deficit, national security or anything that is high priority. It seems not long ago Obama was promising free everything to get elected. It is high time to “END all WELFARE.”
The Climate BS is everything to the left. It is the key to unlimited funding then Power then control. They will double down and double down more.
One could only hope (scuttle). In fact, I'd be thrilled if he ordered the oldest nuclear power plants decommissioned and replaced with nat gas plants. One facet of the CPP of which most people are unaware is that it would further extend the licenses of the oldest, most archaic designed plants beyond 40 years in the name of climate change; that cannot be permitted to occur.
Too bad we didn’t push science aside with the DDT scare and thousands of people around the world would still be alive.
In college, I dated a gal from the home economics dept. She asked me if I knew why emerald green was so popular that year. Being an agricultural student, I didn’t have a clue.
The answer was: That was decided by a committee 3 years ago. Then the cloth makers and fashion designers, sales, etc, could all begin to work together for the final product.
I sat back, is agriculture a fashion industry and concluded it was.
Todays reflection: is politics a fashion industry? But before any comments on this, is there a new fashion in the works to replace the old?
I wonder if they were upset when the Obama Admin removed references to terrorism, Islam, etc., from the governing papers of DHS, etc?
