Police chase ends with suspect who critically shot two Dallas officers and civilian at Home Depot in custody
DALLAS — Dallas police confirm that the suspect sought for shooting two officers at a Home Depot in Northeast Dallas has been caught after a police chase through Dallas.
The shooting happened at the store near US 75 and Forest Lane.
Officers named Hispanic male 29-year-old Armando Juarez as the person they were looking for.

And most cops killers are home grown because the home grown still vastly outnumber those from foreign countries.

That statement is indefensible. Katie Steinle also disagrees even though she says she wasn’t a cop. Also, a 2011 Government Accountability Office report said that a study population of 249,000 criminal aliens had been arrested for 25,064 homicides.

Also, you do know that Texas had Latino types here from when it was part of Mexico, right? He might be descended from someone who came here in the 80s... or he could be descended from someone who was here in 1836. Neither is safe to assume in Texas - it is best to wait for the investigation.
Yeah, I know all about Texas and lived there most of my life. And I know enough to know fairly certainly that his family wasn’t one of the few setters from the Santa Anna era.

... and sadly it leads to a vicious cycle where Police take aggressive actions when they feel endangered. Then people get outraged (perhaps justifiably so) when a cop shoots someone the cop thinks is holding a gun etc. Not a good situation for the police or the public. I see it getting worse and continuing to deteriorate. The remaining pool of people that become cops in the future will be tough and callous thugs.
