Harvard law professor and author Alan Dershowitz argued Monday that former FBI director and current special counsel Robert Mueller should be investigated for his role in protecting a notorious FBI informant and that civil liberties are at stake.
In a column for the Washington Examiner, Dershowitz decries that any criticism or even skepticism regarding Muellers history is seen as motivated by a desire to help President Donald Trump.

Mueller violated the rights of four innocent people and kept them locked up, knowing they were innocent, just to protect a mobster.
But he is determined to bring down President Trump by any means necessary — legal or not.
Dershowitz is very smart and is a constitutional scholar. He is a person of integrity. He will support the constitution even if it is not in the interest of the right or the left.
Yes, Dershowitz is the sharpest arrow in the quiver. Hard to name anyone who is sharper.

Yet he never fails to mention that he voted for Hillary, he loves Hillary, and that Hillary never should be prosecuted for anything she’s done. To have Trump’s DOJ prosecute here would be “revenge” and wrong.
It doesn’t matter to him that Hillary has been immersed and marinating in full-fledged crimes for most of her adult life. We should overlook her crimes, per AD.

He is a liberal, living in Cambridge in the winter and down on the Vineyard in the summer. If a liberal says he says he voted for Hilary, I guess he did.
He is, however, a constitutional scholar, and he is incredibly smart. If he is offering to support our constitution, we - and the constitution - are fortunate.
