I always assumed Rand Paul would vote for him. Paul had to pretend he was all offended about this or that but in the end he had to look at how outraged Republican voters would be if he failed to do the most basic of things - support a Republican stalwart for approval as a nominee for Secretary of State.
In some ways, Rand Paul is just as much a part of The Establishment as anyone else.
