The first wave of Yeti backlash videos are rolling in.
Yo! Orion! Here’s your chance!
Don’t miss this opportunity!
Excellent. Heck, I’ll go cheap styrofoam before I but a Yeti product now!
I look forward to more of these.
Yeti really stepped in it.
I was at a large gun show yesterday which was very crowded. There was a Yeti display there which was largely ignored.
What a coincidence. Just ordered a Rtic 45. $151.00 no tax free shipping. Half the cost of Yeti.
The YETI upper management morons in Austin are dumber than a YETI full of rocks. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see em go completely belly up and it wouldn’t cause me to shed a single tear.
IF you need/want that kind of cooler, check out RTIC Coolers out of Houston. Just as good, if not better, and a helluva less expensive. They’re good old boys that have no gripe against the shooting sports....or the NRA...that’d be life-member guys like me.. :))
If I knew there would be a Yeti display anywhere near me, I would go on a "training diet" of baked beans, onions and cabbage for several days and just stand near it for hours.
Now they stick their nose up in the air at those what brung them to the dance? #hypocrites
I don't know if that's dedication to a worthy cause, rabid indignation or weaponizing your intestines for the discomfort of yourself and others. But it gives me heartburn and the gags just thinking about it.
The Seider brothers who own Yeti have not in my opinion had a hand in this and are likely very pissed off about this negative publicity
They in the past advertised their big coolers while deer hunting big racks in south Texas
They hired Matt Reintjes of Bushnell Vista to run the day to day to prepare for an IPO which they withdrew recently before this mess
Reintjes is not from Texas and is a pro CEO
Figures
Anything comes of this is he’ll be ousted is my guess because such a public move had to have his fingerprints
Any Texas posters know better
From Yeti website
en Roy and Ryan burst onto the scene with YETI, they created a whole new market categoryhigh-end, high-function, damn-near-indestructible coolers, made for, and by, passionate outdoorsmen. The Seiders brothers developed YETI coolers because theyre die-hard hunters and anglers. And over the years, they realized that they needed something better than what the market offered.

That’s incredibly coincidental! I, too, just bought an Rtic 45 for $151.00. Lots of coincidences going around today.
It's baseball season and we need to replace a cooler. I wanted something I could take to the park for my kids travel weekends and also take camping. I want something durable that will last a long time. I was researching products when I found that Yeti had jumped into politics and no longer wants me as a customer.
I am an outdoorsman that uses coolers every weekend. We also go camping in the fall and do some hunting. My family also enjoys shooting. What customer base is Yeti seeking here?
Not sure this is good for your business. I guess I'll go with the Rtic. Thanks for making that easy.

What businesses need to understand is that the communists who are forcing them into “feel good” decisions have no money and want everyone else to be poor. Those of us who have money to spend on their products are going to vote with their wallets. I’ve voted with my wallet today.
I was in a “beef jerky” store in Tennessee a while back. They had a sign in the window, prominently displayed, boldly stating that legal concealed carrying gun owners are invited into their store. “If necessary, please shoot straight.” (paraphrased).
I felt compelled to spend money in that store. And I told the manager/owner it’s the reason I came in.
Are you implying there are more than one manufacturer? What to do, what to do?
RTIC coolers.
Do you own one, are they as good?
