The NRA has been saying for over 25 years that there are between 1.25 - 2.5 million instances where a gun was used to stop a crime. In the overwhelming majority of these occurrences, it was only necessary to show or let the miscreants know that a gun was in the hands of a good guy/gal for crime prevention to take place.

Let’s have the names of the CDC employees who decided that this very important data would not be publicized. They put their leftist anti-gun politics above the public’s health.

The rabid anti-gunners will lie, mislead and downright falsify any contrary data.
They also have no problem having school children massacred in gun-free zones if it helps them achieve their wet dream of banning all guns and disarming Americans.

This statistic does NOT include the number of deterred potential crimes (crimes that did NOT occur) because the criminals suspected that the potential victim might have a gun. If criminals KNEW that their potential victims did not have quick access to a gun, the crime statistics would be MUCH worse. People who NOT have a gun in their home should be very thankful for the millions of people who DO have a gun in their homes. The criminals don’t know who has a gun and who doesn’t, and so are less likely to strike. Deterrence is the first, and perhaps the most important, step in the crime process.

Why does a cente4 that by names purports to control diseases study gun violence/deaths at all?
