This is the very reason why I enjoy watching movies from the 40s to the 60s.
Just watched “My Darling Clementine” about the shootout at the OK Corral with Henry Fonda, Victor Mature, Walter Brennan, Linda Darnell and Cathy Downs.
Watching “The Far Country” right now, another great western about the 1896 Klondike gold rush with James Stewart and a strong female played by Ruth Roman.
Same here. I love that film, along with most John Ford films. I also like the Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas version - Gunfight at the OK Corral. I have tons of Blu-rays and DVDs, almost all of them from the classic period - made by and starring people who are dead now.
Try “Dodge City” with Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHavilland and “Angel and the Badman” with John Wayne and Gail Russell.
