Turkey Targeting Greece - Again
Gatestone Institute ^ | April 20, 2018 at 5:00 am | Uzay Bulut

Turkey has been harassing Greece consistently. Most recently, this week, on April 17, two Turkish fighter aircraft harassed the helicopter carrying Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the Greek Armed Forces Chief Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis as they were flying from the islet of Ro to Rhodes.

With the illegal seizures and occupation of northern Cyprus in 1974 and the Syrian city of Afrin this March -- with virtually no global response -- Turkey apparently feels unchallenged and eager to continue; this time, it seems, with the oil-and-gas rich islands of Greece.

What do we do, when one NATO member fires on another? This did happen in 1974. Same 2 NATO members.

The author, Uzay Bulut, said: "The time to stop Turkey is now."

Note: Uzay is NOT RELATED to Yiğit Bulut, the chief advisor to Erdogan that was quoted in the article. But she was raised in Turkey.

They should have been kicked out of NATO in 1974.

Under Erdogan the Islamist, I totally agree.

He has called for a flash election now. Foreign banks are putting a lot of pressure on Turkey. They deserve it.

It will be interesting to see if there is any possiblity of him not winning the election. People there tell me there is no way he won’t win. Because of widespread fraud.

Win or lose? There are other rumors of a 3rd option.
