President Donald Trump warned Wednesday that he would walk away from his upcoming summit with Kim Jong Un if it wasn’t going to be ‘fruitful.’
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea has expressed its commitment to "complete denuclearization" of the Korean Peninsula and is not seeking conditions, South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Thursday, as the United States vowed to maintain "maximum pressure" on Pyongyang.
Moon said big-picture agreements about denuclearization, establishing a peace regime and normalization of relations between the two Koreas and the United States should not be difficult to reach through summits between the North and South, and between the North and the United States.

“Without conditions”!!!! If it were true then it would mean they are willing to end their nuke program on their own without South Korea or the U.S. doing anything. If that were true, then the South Korea-U.S. response should be - go ahead, end your nuke programs and when you do, after you do, you will see an improvement in relations with us - not before.

If true, this is bizarre. Truely bizarre. If true, it’s capitulation. If it’s capitulation, why? Do the NORKS still have nukes or the capability to produce any? If not, why not? I don’t believe that some fairy grandmother swooped down a cratered a mountain. Hopefully someone cratered it for them. After all the terrifying hyperbole, to just say “we’re done” doesn’t make sense.

One of my parents was originally from a communist eastern Europe country. We never would have thought 30 or 40 years ago that Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Poland, etc. were making their own independent foreign policy moves, so why do we believe that North Korea is some “rogue” state?
Given the history of NK leadership - watch what he does, not just what he says. Trust but verify.

Nothing seems to explain the quick turn of NK except the complete loss of their nuclear program. It was right after the mountain collapsed and buried the whole program and scientists that suddenly they were sending athletes to the games in S.K. and fat boy began fishing for a meeting. With his nukes gone he has no other choice.
Plus there were news reports of U.S. vessels offshore of N.K. Now we are no longer hearing that.
