Journalist Disputes Syrian Chemical Attack in British Publication

Dr. Assim Rahaibani, a Syrian doctor, has told journalist Robert Fisk, writing for the British publication, The Independent, that last week’s alleged chemical gas attack by the Assad government on civilians in Douma did not happen. The alleged chemical attack was the pretext for a combined bombing raid by the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.

“I was with my family in the basement of my home three hundred meters from here on the night but all the doctors know what happened,” Rahaibani told Fisk. “There was a lot of shelling [by government forces] and aircraft were always over Douma at night — but on this night, there was wind and huge dust clouds began to come into the basements and cellars where people lived.”

Stephen Solarz, the man who convinced Reagan to push Marcos out of power, is probably the single reason China is now in the process of consolidating its hold on the South China Sea, via its man-made mini-islands. As soon as the PI’s Senate was able to, it pushed the US out of the Subic Bay Naval Base. In hindsight, I wouldn’t be surprised if Deng Xiaoping gave a number of these useless mouths big fat bribes to evict Uncle Sam. The fact is that State Department people, as well as many in Congress, are so in thrall to liberal democracy as some kind of elixir that they are blind to its negative effects on US interests. These people may not believe in God, but they continue to promote democracy in countries with hostile (to the US) populations. People who don’t believe in God don’t believe in nothing - the problem is that they’ll believe in anything, except the blindingly obvious.
