The Congress does not have the power to take away what the Constitution grants. It’s the Constitution that empowers POTUS to grant clemency and pardons.

You are correct - the power of the pardon is constitutional.

However, one of the GOP bench should immediately introduce a competing bill - perhaps one that says no congressman of either party can be pardoned on a conviction for leaking.

No names..... just introduce that bill please.
