If you pulled out criminal trespass (legit reason), how many folks would you have to call the cops on (per day)? Each person that came in and asked to use toilet, without buying a cup of coffee?
If anything, the lesson learned here is to shut down all public toilets, and make folks pay a buck each time (like they do in Europe now at train stations).
>>What a world we live in!<<
Reportedly — REPORTEDLY — white non-customers were allowed to use the facilities unfettered.
That adds some legs to a cause of action — IF the reports are true (big IF) and quite a few other salient facts also line up.
Yelp had a review from a long time customer of the store 3 months ago. The reviewer said the store had recently installed the bathroom locks and they needed to buy something to get the code.
Ka-Ching
Is Micheal Cohen available to fix the situation with a payout and non-disclosure deal???
When they do file a lawsuit, starbucks should pay them in gift cards
The silly white liberal ‘elites’ running Starbucks deserve this...
If the (white) employee who asked them to leave was following store policy and she was fired I think she should be the one who files a lawsuit.
You can be sure a herd of money-hungry lawyers is calling them day and night. You can be sure they will make a lot of money off this.
That privilege is not open to Whites.
We need John Candy: “If they told you wolverines would make good housepets, would you believe them?”
Yeah, the "silly white liberal 'elites'" who very well know what their fellow-Leftists would do to them if they stray from the Leftist playbook.
"Who told you to take it? I didn't tell you to take it!"
I’d be worried about discovery if I were them. They’re likely hoping Starbucks will be gutless enough to settle.
Don’t be stupid about this. Asking to use facilities is fine.
It’s the refusal to leave when told to, to the point of defying a justified personalized police order to do so and requiring ARREST to compel removal from premises.
If anything, the lesson learned here is to (A) be a customer when facilities are for “customers only”, and (B) GTFO when police tell you to vacate private property.
No, the lesson they are learning is outrage can be induced and people fired for doing their jobs, and you get to appear on Good Morning America.
If these two men were smart, they would ask Starbucks to hire them in an advertising campaign.
Didn’t he put a balm on?
Who told him to put a balm on?
Nobody knows what a balm is going to do!
