PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Police officers are preparing for a potential protest in the city in the event President Trump fires special counsel Robert Mueller.
“We have received information of a potential large scale protest in the Central Business District,” an email sent to Pittsburgh officers said.
If Mueller is fired, it could result in “a large protest within 24 hours of the firing,” the email said. “The protest would be semi-spontaneous and more than likely happen on short notice.”
Beginning Thursday, all Major Crimes detectives will be required to have a full uniform and any issued protective equipment, like riot gear, until further notice, the email said.
A bipartisan effort to protect Mueller’s job has been thwarted by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Firing Mueller is the one thing he could do that would convince anyone on the fence (if there is anyone on the fence) that he might be guilty of something. Otherwise just keep saying that it’s all BS and his supporters will support and his detractors detract, same as before.
A “semi-spontaneous” demonstration? Right. It means that one of Soros’s professional agitators gave the Chief a courtesy call. “Hey, we’re trying to generate a little interest in an astroturf demo. Would you mind releasing this to the media? There’s a shiny new set of anti-riot gear in it for you.” Pelosi tried the same thing with a Dem funding letter. “Trump fired Mueller and I’m furious! Send us money.” Meanwhile the country emits a huge collective yawn and Trump lets them twist in the wind. The clown show is turning frantic.

This is Allegheny County, the only county in western Pennsylvania which Hillary Clinton carried in 2016.
The areas within this county which Clinton happened to carry are red, including Pittsburgh, the biggest deep red splotch located in the middle of the county.

Outside some of the lefties on the campuses around PGH, no one gives two squirts about “Mueller”.
Given that tonight is a playoff hockey game, zilch there.

I am of the opinion that the President should NOT fire Mueller but rather appoint additional special prosecutors.

Why should Trump surrender on the firing issue? He would be well within his rights to fire him. And, if he waits, say, another 6 months and plans it out, he will most certainly prevail politically.
It’s budget season in many cities and municipalities. Maybe the Pittsburg Police Department is angling for more money.
And this is somehow considered news? Really?
