Yeah, the Dems should stick to their strengths: race hatred and gun control. That’s the ticket.
“Democratic leaders don’t want to make impeachment a central tenet of their pitch to voters....”
They already have.
“...especially given Trump’s low approval ratings”
Still, NPR has to put in their little bias.
The survey finds that 47 percent of registered voters would definitely vote against a candidate who wanted to remove Trump from office, while 42 percent would definitely vote for a candidate who would make such a promise. Forty-seven percent of independent voters whose opinions could be decisive also say they would vote against candidates favoring impeachment.
...especially given Trumps low approval ratings
Higher than Barry Sotero’s at this point in his _residency. Suck it, NPR.
according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.
Stop funding these Liberal Progressive Propoganda Pendants.
we’re still giving these idiots money every year??
Even if the Democrats do gain a House majority impeachment will not matter to Donald Trump much at all, or at least any more than the explosion of House opposition that will come with a Democrat majority. He will not lose the Senate and mere impeachment without conviction will simply not have the effect on him that it had on Clinton.
They can’t make a U turn on impeachment. They are way too far out in front on this and it’s not just the ash hole in California. SIXTY SIX of these insane people voted for impeachment in January. Of course most of them voted for impeachment to get fund raiser material to squeeze money out of the scumbags that vote Democrat. Now they are stuck with their vote.
Worry weenies take note: If impeachment is underwater now think of how bad it will be in November.
I believe that the relentless vendetta against Trump justifies a similar response against the corrupt FBI, DOJ and Obama administration.
Lee Miringoff, the director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, said arguing to voters that Democrats would try to stymie Trump and remove him from office could be one of the most salient messages for Republicans this fall, especially given Trump's low approval ratings...
51 percent is "low", say this shill house. Thanks Oldeconomybuyer.
translation: 89% of registered voters are not yet ready to live in a banana republic.
Shhhhhhhhh! Let them find out the hard way. After the election.
I think by refusing to fire Mueller, Trump is giving the Dems. enough rope to hang themselves. It appears they are just about there.
Yep, they’ve been pushing the whole #Resistance meme since the week after the election. Too late to make that go away now.
Rest asured, they wil!
I always wondered how many GOP voters support the swamp. I guess it is 16%.
1. Impeaching Trump would mean President Pence.
2. They can’t possibly muster the votes for impeachment unless they control the House, which can’t happen until after this November’s elections.
3. The new house isn’t seated until 4 January. That only leaves 16 days for the House to impeach and the Senate to convict before the midpoint of Trump’s term.
4. It takes the Senate longer than 16 days to do lunch.
5. The 22nd Amendment stipulates that a POTUS who takes office with less than two years of the term remaining IS STILL ELIGIBLE to be elected to TWO FULL TERMS.
6. Impeaching & convicting Trump potentially could lead to 9 1/2 years of President Pence.
