On Monday, George Yancy, a black professor of philosophy at Emory University, wrote a lengthy piece in The New York Times detailing the awful death threats he has received from white racists. I can sympathize -- throughout 2016, I received my fair share of death threats. But Yancy sees those death threats as representative of a deeper malignancy plaguing all of white America, not a sickness within a subset of the population. Thus, he asks, "Should I Give up on White People?"

>>Thus, he asks, “Should I Give up on White People?”
When you are feeding a stray dog that does no work and he decides to wander away becuase he doesnt like the free food, you dont mourn for your lost dog. You are glad that he moved on. Thats how I feel about this guy.
So, he admits that he needs the white man to fix his perception problem. A real man would look in the mirror first (ironically, just like Michael Jackson famously sang in ‘The Man In The Mirror’).
“Do I give up on white people”
Do I give up on black people?
Does he realize that the opposite of love is not hate but apathy? It isn’t the middle ground, it is a total disregard for the other.
“Go kill yourselves in city gang wars, hundred in Chicago every year, see if I care.” That is Rat leadership in a Rat town that is apathetic.
Ben seems not to understand that people like Yancy use “systemic white racism” as a code word for capitalism. When we have been stripped of all our constitutionally guaranteed individual rights, and the government controls the means of production (and most government employees are black), then “racism” will have been vanquished.
Of course Yancey understands this. He is deep enough into the left to know that the issue (in this case, supposed systemic racism) is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.
(HAT TIP MORRISSEY) Labeling someone a “racist” is just a way of changing the subject.
When someone calls you racist, what they are saying is hmm, you actually have a point,
and I dont know how to answer it, so perhaps if I distract you by calling you a bigot
well both forget how enlightened your comment was.
Nope. Not true. I'm not a SJW.
Separate but equal may work.
White people make death threats, yet black people cause actual death.
Big difference.
Oh, Yancy knows it, for sure. I’m saying I don’t know if Ben Shapiro realizes it.
Why don’t people simply quit giving racist people like George Yancy the time of day.
Yeah, I don’t know about that, but I was just holding up a mirror.
The left is for racial profiling, but only when it fits their political agenda (rather than the facts.)
>>Nope. Not true. I’m not a SJW.
I thought the same thing when I read that.
Sorry, did you say something? -- White People
Not only that, but these nutso people see racism EVERYWHERE. Whites just speaking about ANYTHING is racism to them.
So you could look at it this way: if youre white youre racist. Period.
How do you combat that? You dont. Write them off but watch your back.
Oh, and lock n load. ALWAYS
