WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA-Nikki R. Haley, the ambassador to the United Nations, fired back at the White House on Tuesday, denying that she had been confused when she announced on Sunday that the Trump administration would impose new sanctions on Russia.
"With all due respect, I don't get confused," she told Dana Perino of Fox News.
She was responding to a comment earlier in the day by Larry Kudlow, the president's new economic advisor who was briefing reporters in Florida before President Trump's meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan.
"She got ahead of the curve,” Mr. Kudlow said. “She’s done a great job. She’s a very effective ambassador, but there might have been some momentary confusion about that.”
On Monday, White House officials said Mr. Trump had not yet decided whether to impose sanctions on Russian companies found to be assisting Syria’s chemical weapons program. That contradicted Ms. Haley, who had said a day earlier that the president would take that step.
Mr. Kudlow was the first senior White House official to place the blame directly on Ms. Haley...

Yea, now she’s being a bitch. Announding Kudlow called her and groveled. Can’t they have personal communications? Leak leaks leaks, or too many drama queens.
I’m sick of Trump team telegraphing all their moves. If sanctions were in order, than fine, spring them first. But now all the evidence is coming in that it was not poison gas.
So why sanction Russia at all? To make McCain and Linda happy?
Nikki Haley’s cool - got more stones than most of the dudes in Washington. Strong headed people get pissy once in a while, small price to pay.

The UN has never been confronted and berated by the US as they have been by Nikki Haley. And I have loved every minute of watching her do it.
This is a communications foul up, and if the excuse was that she was the one confused, I don’t blame her one bit for standing up for herself.
