Israel and the USA would be better off staying out of that fight, helping the re-build, and attacking Syria only if Syria attacks them. Israel is no more prepared than the US to station an occupation force there and be responsible for whatever goes wrong.
Something assuredly will go wrong. The usual suspects will see to it.
