The United States and Britain on Monday accused Russia of launching cyber attacks on computer routers, firewalls and other networking equipment used by government agencies, businesses and critical infrastructure operators around the globe.

Heard about this from the latest Amir video. Did a search and found this and other stories.
Russians aren’t all evil louts.
Some of them are evil geniuses.
AND WHERE did STUXNET originate ?
doubt it.
srsly?
why?
this is going to be another one of “those threads”. you know, I can almost see the point of the libertarians screaming like three year old girls because trump blew up a bunch of syrian sh*t, but I CAN’T see going all in on russia 24x7 because your feeling are still bent about it.
i doubt russia did this.
why? (again)
Hillary called Russian election interference the cyber equivalent of 9/11 and weve decided to follow her way of thinking.
All the Russia hysteria is designed to prop up the Clinton excuse for losing the election.
It’s amazing the lengths they have gone.
They invented behavioral psychology, among other things.
So some of you think it’s not really happening? Reuter’s and USA Today are wrong? Just want to be clear if it’s Russian origin you dispute or the whole thing.
At this point, yes, there have been so many cries of “Russian wolf!” that I am at the point where I believe no accusation being made against Russia, especially when it comes from the same people who repeatedly lied to us before.
These people are all about getting Trump at any costs, and that means pushing Hillary’s “Russians-stole-my-election” narrative, no matter how dead that horse may be.
I’ll give you the specific detail as to why this particular accusation is not credible.
Note in the article, almost all the quotes - especially the key ones - are from anonymous “officials”.
Of the three people who are actually named, NONE of them make the accusation that the article makes.
So the question is: who are these unnamed US and UK government officials who are making the accusation? I’d wager that they’re all Clintonites or Deep Staters with mischief on their agenda, and this would be obvious if they were named - so they are not named.
Bottom line: to believe this accusation you have to take the word of anonymous government “officials” - the well-known hallmark of fake news.
Yep. I’m just saying that the Russians aren’t the only ones who use Viruses/Trojans to attack enemy facilities.
Even if it were true, doesn’t every major power have cyber units that try to attack the enemy via the internet ?
I know we do.
