Hannity has not retained cohen, but he is admitting he had consultations. He should have disclosed when he started covering stories with Cohen in them.
I would think a morphing libertarian would be concerned about the abuse of judicial power in ordering Cohen to name his clients for no reason. What exactly are you morphing into?
No he should not. That is a pathetic attempt to twist your personal dislike for Hannity into an excuse to attack him.
Pathetic and sad on your part.
Why he's not a reporter or an editor. He's just a guy with an opinion and a show.
Even unpaid consultations with an attorney are subject to the attorney-client privilege if the consultation concerns legal advise. For example, someone calls a lawyer to see if he will take the case. The lawyer spends ten minutes on the phone with the potential client during which he asks a number of question concerning the dispute. Even if the lawyer decides not to take the case of the client decides not to retain the layer, the ten minute phone call is subject to the attorney-client privilege.
Why? Hannity is under no obligation to disclose that he consulted with Cohen or anyone else.
Hannity has not retained cohen, but he is admitting he had consultations. He should have disclosed when he started covering stories with Cohen in them.

Should Stephanopoulos disclose his ongoing association with the Clintons. Should Come dispose he voted for Clinton. Should the entire MSM disclose who they voted for?
