Now for fun color the raw eggs and hide them in the park for Easter.

I would avoid all raw oyster, egg, or anything else, that could compromise us to salmonella, or other bacteria! In fact, I will go so far as to say, I don’t want any, even if safe! lol

“If you chew your food, and have normal stomach acid, you dont get salmonella poisoning.”
so, you’re saying a million people got salmonella food poisoning from not chewing their food, 20,000 were hospitalized from not chewing their food, and 400 died from not chewing their food?

A prairie oyster (or prairie cocktail) is a drink consisting of a raw egg, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice, vinegar, hot sauce, salt and ground black pepper..." Thanks.
I've seen the term but never took the time to read up on it.

Yes, Salmonella can infect the ovaries before egg shells are formed and shed intermittently prior to shell formation. It can also be in feces and on the outside of the shell.

Two of my friends from one of the affected states have reported being ill with food poisoning. Awful.

I agree. Plus, having a strong immune system works good too.
My whole life, and I’m 63 years old, I never had “food poisoning”.
My secret? Eat what you want, and don’t brush off everything down to the nub. Veggies out of the garden? Eat them dirt and all. Meats smell a little funky? Cool them up and the juices will flow and they will be de-lish-us!
Cripes, if I had a quarter of all the paranoia others around me have, I’d wish I was dead already!
