The comparison is obvious. A new Gallup poll finds a precipitous drop in Catholic Church attendance coinciding with the years of Pope Francis's papacy.
Francis is known for shoving secular statist left-wing ideology into church teachings, through both his words and his deeds, just as Colin Kaepernick did with the National Football League. That's clear in what Pope Francis says and in whom he invites into the Vatican to provide advice. And surprise, surprise, the result is the same: the fans and the flock stay away.
Breitbart reports:
Catholic church attendance in the United States fell by six percent between the pontificates of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, the sharpest drop in decades, a new Gallup poll has revealed.
The empty pews have the curious redolence of Colin Kaepernick, who created empty seats in America's football stadiums by introducing left-wing protest into National Football League opening ceremonies. It was the specter of a $20-million football player telling the audience paying that salary that they and their country were just too racist for him. No surprise: The audience drifted away, and NFL profits plummeted.
Such an audience wanted entertainment, not hectoring. And it's likely the same for the Catholic Church. It's been a while since Francis has attempted to stick to pure religion and spirituality in his statements and deeds; it's always something with a polarizing political message from him. Well, audiences there want religion, and a religion with demands, not a mere call to vote left and leave it at that. They want actual religion just as football fans want actual football.
What a legacy.
So much for the Francis Effect, which the media gushingly pushed, claiming that Pope Francis, with his left-wingery, would revitalize the Church.

Ping.
In this papacy, it's "Fewer but dumber sheeple".

Yes, very dumb. Too many can’t see that he is more interested in social engineering than saving souls.
I had a discussion with my pastor about this pope. He reminded me that the Church has had bad popes before. The Church has survived the bad ones. We must wait and pray for him.
Personally, I tried to leave the Church once because of a pastor who was real full of himself ( and didn’t like kids, to boot!). No other faith was unwavering on the TRUTH like the Catholic faith. This is no other for me.
Peace
I no longer attend and I feel no guilt at all.
In fact, here in San Diego, the Bishop actively endorses and supports “sanctuary everything for illegals,” so the last damn place I want to be is in Church.
From 45 down to 39 is a drop of more than 13% . . . in only nine years. Wow!
The Pope will always have Nanzi.
OK, I'm not totally stupid. I've been aware since, say, 2014 that there was blatant sleight-of-hand and fakery going on in the Synods. But it's just today that I remembered that there's a many-decades-old small-group-psychology technique for doing that, called the Delphi Technique, which is what the Francis machine has been following to the letter.
I recommend everybody google keywords
and get up to speed on what's happening here.
I'm kicking myself for not realizing this before.
Lord Jesus, rescue your Bride.
Furthermore, if the Church openly advocates policies that will require increased government spending to accommodate, then the Church should be taxed as a political organization.
He is like a whirlwind that eventually stops.
We just need to be prepared for the damage.
So, can the cardinals put him on the permanent disabled list???
And Francis gloats with his success. Sad!
The Boy Scouts used the Delphi Technique to manipulate the local troops into appearing to favor homosexuality in 2013. They held a whole round of meetings and focus groups. The one I attended evidenced just these techniques.
I don’t go to church to worship the Pope.
The parishioners who understand Who the Eucharist IS [daily Mass numbers have either stayed the same or increased over the years], are not about to budge one iota. Why would anyone in-the-know walk away from the Blessed Sacrament?
Vince Lombardi is turning in his grave.
And then there’s this:

Francis Effect ?? or maybe .... Cupich Effect? :)
