We did have a good time...Dot had lots of stories of her childhood on a farm. Peg wanted some stories so lead her there. We all enjoyed the time together.

Been trying to catch up on everything since I had so little computer time the last two days. Been a lot going on!
It was a pretty nasty, wet drive this morning but no storms came through today. That stuff calmed down but we’ve had rain all day and will have it all night too.
The WWI uniforms were the most interesting pieces I worked with today. There was a real nice West Point cadet’s jacket and overcoat too. I’d love to wear that jacket. Those tails and the embroidery on it ...... just my style. LOL
How was your day? Still roasting or did it cool off?
I’ll bet that WAS interesting to hear about. They farmed so differently back in those days since they didn’t have all the fancy, huge equipment that exists today.
Several years ago, when Clara’s memory still behaved itself, we’d get her to talk about the days when she was growing up on this farm
It sure is cool but it doesn’t seem like work at all. It’s a vast pleasure and the time flies by.

It was cooler here today, but still too breezy to want to go out for any length of time. At least the sky was blue instead of brown.

We were glad the weather didn’t get bad too! There were some strong storms up above Nashville early this morning and others father to the west but it was cool enough it took all the stuffing out of the system. It’s been pretty much stalled the past few hours and we’ve had rain non-stop all day and night. At least it isn’t real heavy so there’s no flooding.
LOL! No, I did NOT try the jacket on. But I sure did admire it as I brushed it off.
Glad you had nice weather even though it was a bit breezy. Blue sky is MUCH better than the brown you’ve dealt with so much lately.

What she has around her neck is a little ribbon-y collar...and I’ve checked and it’s not too tight. But she has shredded it as she scratches her neck. It looks awful but she’s not my kitty so I’m not taking it off. I only feed her because Ghost invites her. LOL!

The rain is supposed to be out of here tomorrow morning. Then it’ll get cold through Monday. Could have some frost tomorrow and Monday nights, durn it!

She IS a cute little girlie and Ghost seems might sweet on her. LOL! He’s a handsome feller so how can she resist? :-)
It’s cool to watch them together. He is so nice to her. I try to pet her when she’s out there, so HE will see that she likes me and that he could too. As for that shredded collar, I’d bet some little girl whose kitty she is thought it would be cute. I’m sure she has a home. She’s too friendly to be a total stray.
Guess I’d better go. Pew bonking should not happen in the morning! Hope you get spring before summer rolls around. :)

That fact he’s close to her would make if a great idea to pet her where he can see you do it. It’ll help him learn to trust you.
It would be nice if the people she belongs to had enough sense to put a break-away collar on her if they insist on her wearing something. But then I’m one of those who doesn’t like to put collars on cats in the first place. Just a “thing” with me. :-)
It’s beginning to look like it’s going to be one of those years we go from winter to summer. It’s happened before. At this point, I’ll settle for summer. Winter’s been around more than long enough!
