Most of the establishment press's coverage of President Donald Trump's pardon of Scooter Libby has not mentioned Richard Armitage, the person who admitted that he first leaked allegedly covert CIA agent Valerie Plame's name to journalist Robert Novak in 2003.
This pervasive failure includes items at the Associated Press, New York Times, the Washington Post, and over 80 percent of Google News stories about Libby.
A 5:41 p.m. Friday AP story by Chad Day and Catherine Lucey also assumed that Trump engaged in nefarious timing:
President Donald Trump issued a pardon Friday to I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, suggesting the former top aide to Vice President Dick Cheney had been "treated unfairly" by a special counsel. The pardon comes at a moment when the president faces an escalating special counsel investigation of his own.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders insisted the pardon was not intended to send a message to the special counsel investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, saying, "One thing has nothing to do with the other." But critics noted the timing, coming as Trump fumes over Robert Mueller's probe, which he has dubbed a "witch hunt."

Richard Armitage was the sitting Deputy Secretary of State for then SOS Colin Powell. Powell was one of the first to know because Armitage told him when Plame made the accusation. Long before Fitzpatrick had any idea who it was.
Powell told him to not tell anyone else but instead let the entire administration, that he was a member of, swing in the wind for the entire time in years before Fitz ham sandwiched Scooter, only because his account did not match that of a friggin reporter.

Libby was busted in a perjury trap because he remembered some things differently than Tim Russert.
There was no underlying crime. Plame had no law protecting her identity. She worked at a desk. She continued the same job for two years. She only quit because she got a book deal which fell apart once it was learned Karl Rove would not be frog marched off to prison.
THERE WAS NO CRIME SO NO LEAKER.
This was a giant scam that the wussy W let go on without any kind of a fight.
Same as they are trying with the Russian collusion deal, which is not a crime.
If we had an honest press these fake but accurate investigations would never get started.
The Plames themselves leaked it. Their neighbors told the press that they told everyone in the neighborhood that they worked for the CIA. Also, Valery was never in a covert status that makes it a crime to leak.
Thats why nobody was ever charged with leaking.
I agree in that there are things seemingly left unsaid by the Exec Branch that I wish were said. But to my recollection, Trump does a better job at going over the heads of the Fifth Column, er, Estate, to reach the people than any of his predecessors, including Reagan--who was brilliant. That's why the more they attack Trump, the more popular he gets. Fifty percent approval and holding.
The culture war is no longer over ideas, but the money-making privileges of the Deep State its sponsor, the lobbyist-bankster-media-foundation class, who are in open alliance to keep looting the national treasury. It feels as if it's moving toward a shooting war.
At least, if Reagan said something publicly, the media would report it, even if they gave it a Two Minutes Hate. Trump can't count on even that. But he keeps getting it done. He doesn't back down--he just goes in by another door.

Millineum Challenge is also the State Dept agency Obama took $100 million tax dollars to give to Michelle to give to Morocco "to teach Muslim girls."
The catch is----the US-based Obama Foundation holds the $100 mill and will dole it out when needed. (waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)
...or that no one was prosecuted for the “leak”, as it wasn’t illegal, and was in any case redundant.
