Last week in San Jose, they kept talking about this storm we were going to have. Words used to describe it were Pineapple Express bringing a river of rain. It sounded terrible.
In reality, it was a light shower.
"Al's not playing with a full deck..."
Hockey is the best team sport there is! If the USA banned hockey Id be begging to get into canada. So there. ;)
Agreed. Not an authentic rant. A real rant requires some profanity and at least a threat of violence, property destruction, etc.
I actually kind of follow the weather there as I have a bunch of family in his market and just south of it.
They are getting slammed the last 24 hours and the next 48 hours. Ice, sleet, freezing rain etc etc. I have always have concerns about the roads for my family members.
We were there for nine days around Christmas. It was okay the day we got there and then is snowed in three storms with about 8 lake effect events between the three main storms. It was bad even for southeast Michigan norms.
I refer to sleet mixed with snow as Kalamazoo Sunshine.

weather...followed by a Canadian low NOT to be confused with a Mexican high....
tonights forecast dark followed by darker then lighter by morning...
....todays scores
7
12...etc
They stole that from Massachusetts. :-)
And, of course, “radar indicates a line of thunderstorms...but also several Russian ICBM’s, so don’t sweat the thunderstorms.”
Angel fan here...just watched the series with the Rangers. Pretty depressing performance by the Rangers and their fans. Disappointed to see the stands so empty.
Yeah, wasn’t too bad here, only got 3.75” of rain. Think it ended up going further north than predicted.
I’m still waiting on the storm that was due last week.
I'm well inland from the coast. Mid to upper 80's where I'm at.
I live in the GRR area and have never heard of this weatherguy. Understandable though, as I threw out the idiot box many years ago.
“Idiot box” — that’s what my Grandpa used to call it. He was born in 1890. Then my Dad used it a lot, too. Haven’t heard that in a while. It’s so true.
