The thing I’ve come to recognize over the years is that there are certain countries, particularly Arab countries, that NEED to be Ruled by Authoritative Dictators.

I would bet that there are U.S. and British reports, documents and eventually policies that where developed after WWII that recognized the threat of Islam. Policies that basically said “These people are insane” and the only way to keep them under control is to allow them their own country and Dictator as long as they didn’t expand into the Western world.
