The number of foreigners in Germany grew by around 5.8 percent in 2017. The new statistics show that while refugee arrivals have leveled off, immigration from eastern EU countries is climbing at an above-average rate.
At the end of 2017 there were 10.6 million foreigners registered in Germany, according to figures released by the Federal Office of Statistics on Thursday. That’s an increase of about 585,000, or 5.8 percent, compared to the previous year.
A statistics office spokesman said the current growth is on par with foreign population levels in 2013, before the 2015 refugee crisis that led to hundreds of thousands of newcomers arriving in Germany. […]

If we naively take Merkel’s word in good faith then the 10 million should be working, paying tax and making Germany’s economy boom even more than its usual steady rate.
But that isn’t happening. Instead, she has crime, religious ghettoes and a new scrounger class heretofore unheard of in Germany.
Her plan, such as it was, failed because she failed to rationally assess the replacement peasants.
There are 10,000,000 foreign born in Germany. About 20,000,000 native born Germans are the first generation born to those immigrants. Since the catastrophic genetic losses of the endemic German population from 1914-1945, Germany has been fundamentally and forever transformed. Also the remnants of the German population since 1945 are not very good at procreating. The birthrate of the “natives” is far below replacement levels. Population genetics makes political trends understandable and predictable.

10.6 million foreigners in a population of 82 million is 12% of the population. It’s an invasion not “immigration”.
Germany is most definitely in a demographic death spiral. The numbers are:
20% of German women have two children
40% of German women have one child
40% of German women are childless
