There are 10,000,000 foreign born in Germany. About 20,000,000 native born Germans are the first generation born to those immigrants. Since the catastrophic genetic losses of the endemic German population from 1914-1945, Germany has been fundamentally and forever transformed. Also the remnants of the German population since 1945 are not very good at procreating. The birthrate of the “natives” is far below replacement levels. Population genetics makes political trends understandable and predictable.

Germany is most definitely in a demographic death spiral. The numbers are:
20% of German women have two children
40% of German women have one child
40% of German women are childless
Mark Steyn had it right in his book “America Alone” ten years ago. He is the first modern commentator to notice this and try to awake the Western world to our demographic suicide.
