Within minutes of his firing in May, former FBI director James Comey received a call from John Kelly, then the head of the Department of Homeland Security and now the White House chief of staff.
According to Comey’s account, which is set to appear in his highly-anticipated forthcoming memoir, Kelly was “emotional” over the manner in which Comey was let go. The then-FBI Director had reportedly been in California at the time, speaking to FBI agents in Los Angeles, and only found out that he was out of a job when he saw the news break on TV.
Kelly, Comey recalls, said he was “sick” about the situation and “intended to quit” in protest. Kelly “said he didn’t want to work for dishonorable people,” referring specifically to President Donald Trump, who appeared to be upset at the FBI’s persistent investigation into his campaign’s possible collusion with Russian officials.

Although I’m not a fan of Kelly’s, I think it’s far more likely that he called COMEY dishonorable...

Even if true, him throwing Kelly under the bus after expressing support indicates he, indeed, has no honor.

Kelly is free to stop working for Trump whenever he pleases.
Kelly has worked for Trump for a long time after the purported conversation with Comey.
Therefore, Kelly does not consider Trump dishonorable.
Logic crushes false narrative.
But speaking of dishonorable, how honorable was it to obstruct justice in Hillary Clinton’s gross negligence case, leak dirt and secrets to media, attempt to subvert the Presidential election and elected candidate, preside over a vast conspiracy using the government for partisan purposes, abuse the FISA process, allow Clinton to sell out her office in the Uranium One scandal, etc? If Kelly said he didn’t want to work with someone who was dishonorable, perhaps he had Comey in mind.
The "republicans" are the party that lied for years about the agenda they wanted to push, one that aligned quite nicely with Trumps. When he got in, they revealed that it was all lies and they squandered their opportunity to get important things done, or rather they intentionally obstructed it. As a result of their lies and obstruction they've lost the base but do they look within? Do they wonder how they did this to themselves? Nope. They are blaming Trump. He's alone, they are part of the swamp. Basically the desk is stacked against HIM and US. Lying swamp monster republicans will all be fine.

I’m going to presume that Kelly, a Marine General, doesn’t use the term “dishonorable” lightly. If he felt his boss was dishonorable, why would he continue to work for him? Would he not, through his looking the other way, become tainted with that dishonor himself? The answer is yes and I don’t believe he would do that to himself. Hence I beleive Comey is lying. but then I Could have stopped at Comey because everything he says is a smooth sounding lie.

Will anyone challenge Comey in any comments he makes on this so called book tour..I for one, never follow any ‘book tours’...it is all about money and selling the book...

Between his extremly bad poltical advice and his failure to shut down the leaks out of the White House it obvious he is either politically corrupted or incompetent.
I highly doubtful the comment that Kelley became emotional.

I’m looking at articles about this and they say Kelly was disgusted with “the way” Comey was fired. A far cry from being upset he was fired.
Read the story about Comey’s book on Drudge. The book sounds childish. Discusses Trump’s tie being too long. Comey is a jackass.
