As one that kept score during “The war in 1968”, and “The Yom Kippur War” in 1972, I can tell you with a great degree of certainty, that ALL the other countries in the Middle East, to include Turkey (Asia Minor), and Iran (Persia), are enemies of Israel.
True. But Assad for the most part has been fairly secular. Imagine the Taliban sitting in Damascus.
