A group of bipartisan senators is introducing new legislation to limit President Trump's ability to fire special counsel Robert Mueller.
Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.). Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Christopher Coons (D-Del.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) will introduce the legislation, the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act, on Wednesday.
The legislation would let Mueller, or any other special counsel, receive an "expedited judicial review" within 10 days of being fired to determine if it was for a "good cause." If it was determined it wasn't, he would be reinstated.
It would also codify regulations that only a senior Justice Department official can fire a special counsel and that they must provide the reason in writing.

So basically Mueller can go and do whatever he wants, without oversight? What a joke. The fact that Republicans signed on to this, is a disgrace.
McCain didn’t join in this bipartisan effort? He must really be on his death bed.
Trump becomes a McCainocrat. It is a good strategy, will help him survive in Washington.
Will there be an amendment to the constitution modifying Article II of the Constitution?
Congress is part of the Executive Branch?
I’ll have to go back and read that Constitution thingy again.
I wasn’t surprised until I saw that the Republican Senator from North Carolina was a co-sponsor.
What kind of "Texan" are you?
Weak Republican Party.
It is prophesied and it will happen. There is a difference between prophesy and prediction. God brings prophesy about even if it brings about the death of millions. Nothing can stop it.
It’s all about keeping the Cheap Labor Express running.
They do not want us to restore the rule of law and remove all the illegal aliens they invited here against our will.
Just a PR stunt to try and embarrass Trump even more knowing that Trump would not only not sign it even if it managed to pass both Houses, they well know that Trump would most likely veto it with good cause. This is likely an attempt to try and cast Trump as a rouge out of control President willing to do anything to hang onto power. The never Trumpers just keep piling on the shat. They likely think they have Trump on the ropes.
That is BLATANTLY unconstitutional. Tell them to go to hell!!
The US needs protection from the likes of Mueller.
Trump WILL veto it, and they won’t have the votes to override.
This is legislative masturbation.
“Republicans hell bent on making America into North Mexico”.....
Too late, look at kalifornika for example. It’s time for God himself to stop the nonsense.
President Trump has enemies all around him. From the deep state neo-cons to gutless Repubs. This is largely symbolic since the President can veto it. But it’s an impeachment shot across his bow. All you chicken littles can abandon him and you’ll have proved your shallowness of character. Not me.
So what are you going to do when Cory Booker is president and Elizabeth Warren is vp and the men in suits show up at your door, annoucning, "We have been reading your mail/emails/text/facebook page, and we need you to come with us. Don't worry about a bag. Your hands behind your back please. Just get in the car."
Ask them politely not to put your family in harm's way?
True, but Lindsey and Thom are the absolute bottom of the barrel. So the question remains, what’s wrong with the people in the Carolinas. sending this $hit to Washington?
“Protect” the commie bastard all you want. When all is said and done, history will not be kind to his ass as well as his enablers. History will show this “investigation” as a fraud perpetrated against the President of the United States. There is no avoiding it.

...
That looks like a small group of knuckleheads to me.
