If you go back to 2016 and look at the numbers you'll find that almost every Republican member of the House and Senate who won his or her race had a larger margin of victory than Donald Trump in that district or state.
Donald Trump's appeal -- especially among Republicans -- is often overestimated in a lot of these places.
