The Russians jammed the drones so we couldn’t see what happened.

Sarin followed up by Chlorine to disguise the Sarin attack may have happened. It’s well possible, the rebels do not have sarin gas and do not have air power to do this.

This is what the President is looking at.

Also, those saying this is Al Qaeda, human shields, that may well be another big lie. This is being reported on.

We simply do not know what is going on, but we may know enough to know, this gas could not be delivered on the ground. Russian lies.

What? Use them on civilians and get the US to attack Assad. How is that not a win for the rebels?

The Mid-East is a Gordian Knot that American intervention will never cut.

We should have not involved ourselves with Afghanistan. We should not have involved ourselves with Iraq. We should have not involved ourselves with the problems between Israel and the "Palestinians". That one especially. It seems that every President is drawn like a moth to flame with hope that he will be the one who brings about lasting peace between those two and it only ends up as futile and wasted an effort as ever.

We should not involves ourselves with Syria either.

Very nearly everyone in that region is hellbent on wiping out everyone else. The exceptions seem to be Israel, Egypt and to a large extent Jordan. And the misbehavior of their neighbors obligates them to be more on their toes defensively than proportionally even the United States.

Let 'em hash all of this out on their own. Sometimes you have to leave someone alone to face the consequences of his or her own misbehavior. This is no different. Leave them alone and give them what they really want. Consider it "toughlove". And keep us the hell out of their mess.

The Saudis and Qatar are allies in this? You’re joking?

Thanks for the great debating point. And other is propaganda. What a joke. The Saudis have been at the throats of Qatar and vice-versa. What a load of garbage.

Russia garbage propaganda rides again.

To say KSA is allied with Qatar has to be about the stupidest thing in the world. No wonder, some swallow it up.

Let’s not forget whom posted this and who believed this.

Trump was fed faulty intel over the false flag last year. Mattis says so.

This is based on Jaish al Islam/White Helmet/Al Qaeda videos. You don’t go to war with a nuclear superpower based on such “evidence”.

And who says this?

Russia who is 142nd in the world in freedom of the press?

Syria who has been a designated state sponsor of terrorism since 1978?

A total joke on these points.

I love OANN, One American News, but their parroting these points too, doesn’t change things. We simply do not know on a lot of this... and that’s no reason to take their word on this as well.

In February of 2018 Mattis admitted there was ZERO evidence that the Syrian regime used Sarin gas in the last “attack”.

Do these army of islam guys want us to stay?

Muslims put out false flag ops as often as they beat their wives. Which is often. See, for example, the palestinians recycling dead baby pics, or carrying around fake dead kids.

I trust Trump, but this really seems like a barely disguised psyops to keep us in Syria. And bomb someone else’s enemy.

If McCain is for it, friken do not do it.

This is not a big deal.

There should only be one missile:

GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP)

The largest Bunker Buster in the world, right down the palace chimney of Assad.

I was backing Trump as early as 2015, you clown.

You think you are somehow helping him by policing comments of his supporters here that aren’t 1000% boosterism 1000% of the time.

But your inaccurate and mindless insults are no favor to Trump at all — you just make his supporters look like jerks.

It’s the oil, gas and pipelines, stupid!

Indeed, tensions were building between Russia, the U.S. and the European Union amid concerns that the European gas market would be held hostage to Russian gas giant Gazprom. The proposed Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline would be essential to diversifying Europe’s energy supplies away from Russia.

Turkey is Gazprom’s second-largest customer. The entire Turkish energy security structure relies on gas from Russia and Iran. Plus, Turkey was harboring Ottoman-like ambitions of becoming a strategic crossroads for the export of Russian, Caspian-Central Asian, Iraqi and Iranian oil and even gas to Europe, assesses journalist Pepe Escobar writing for Al Jazeera.

The Guardian reported in August 2013:

“Assad refused to sign a proposed agreement with Qatar and Turkey that would run a pipeline from the latter’s North field, contiguous with Iran’s South Pars field, through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and on to Turkey, with a view to supply European markets – albeit crucially bypassing Russia. Assad’s rationale was ‘to protect the interests of [his] Russian ally, which is Europe’s top supplier of natural gas.’”

Note the purple line which traces the proposed Qatar-Turkey natural gas pipeline and note that all of the countries highlighted in red are part of a new coalition hastily put together after Turkey finally (in exchange for NATO’s acquiescence on Erdogan’s politically-motivated war with the PKK) agreed to allow the US to fly combat missions against ISIS targets from Incirlik. Now note which country along the purple line is not highlighted in red. That’s because Bashar al-Assad didn’t support the pipeline and now we’re seeing what happens when you’re a Mid-East strongman and you decide not to support something the US and Saudi Arabia want to get done.

Knowing Syria was a critical piece in its energy strategy, Turkey attempted to persuade Syrian President Bashar Assad to reform this Iranian pipeline and to work with the proposed Qatar-Turkey pipeline, which would ultimately satisfy Turkey and the Gulf Arab nations’ quest for dominance over gas supplies, who are the United State’s allies. But after Assad refused Turkey’s proposal, Turkey and its allies became the major architects of Syria’s “civil war.”

Out of character to warn of pending missile attack. If true look at it as the Syrian proving ground for the worthiness of US missile upgrades vs Russian state of the art S4 anti-missile systems. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump does something completely different.
