Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz will have dinner Tuesday at the White House with President Donald Trump
He tells DailyMail.com that the Department of Justice violated Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's rights when it seized his documents on Monday
The government will set up a team of agents and lawyers to review the material to make sure prosecutors don't see anything 'privileged'
That could include documents covered by the sanctity of an attorney-client relationship, whose mere presence in prosecutors' hands could 'taint' a case
But since those 'taint teams' are made up of government agents, Dershowitz says the DOJ already has them which is unconstitutional

There is one simple thing to do here. Sessions needs to declare he never recused himself from his oath to the constitution, take charge on this one, order Wray, SS, etc. to seize the records, return them to Cohen, and dismiss and start disbarment proceedings against RR, M and the idiot district attorney for the Southern District of NY. Also see if there is evidence to recommend the judge for impeachment or other judicial discipline.
Like the RAT party and their allies really give a rip about the constitution or the law.
Dershowitz plays both sides for the bucks. He’s voted with the rat party in most elections.
That is the way it used to be. They went in and took “all” his records. not secific ones They will turn these over to low level FBI people called a clean team read these and will weed out the attorney-client privilege from the prosecutors. None of this will get to Mueller are be leaked out given that the FBI being so honest and trust worthy. This is the same US attorney that refused to look into the Clinton email. Also on record as being anti Trump democrat. Did the FBI raid Clinton’s are her lawyers office? Her lawyer was in the room when the questioned Clinton along with all of her staff.
Thank you. That makes it more clear than the source I was reading.
It’s clear Mueller and the FBI don’t care but this is slow motion Deep State coup as far as I’m concerned. The end goal is to indict Trump for lying about Stormy Daniels as far as I can figure.
There are plenty of elephants in support. Why has not a single Senator come out in defense of Trump here?
Most of them have it in for Trump. He took the nose plugs out of American noses and they smell the stench that is Congress. Congressmen did not appreciated it.
Yes, he will fight against this. I suspect Trump may see him as the replacement for both Sessions and Rosenstein. Sessions has to be near the top of the list of biggest disappointments of Trump’s picks.
That is what I was told by the attorney whose house I bought in 1991.
Dershowitz is around 80 yrs. I doubt he would be interested in such a demanding role, although who knows? He has previously said he is retired.... but the chance to top off his career as AG might be too tempting to pass up..... but he is ultra-liberal on most issues. Ultra-liberal/left on almost all issues except Israel’s defense and some quasi-libertarian/constitutional issues such as restraining Mueller. Even though he is helpful with advice about these Mueller issues, he could be dangerous in many other ways. I don’t know that Trump would or should really consider him for AG. Much more likely just to get some guidance for the Trump legal team....
Yes, no doubt, Dershowitz is ultra-liberal on many issues. His intersection with US conservatives is mainly on certain matters of the constitution, where Dershowitz does not follow the leftist party line always.
TY. I had no idea he was about 80. I thought 65-68 or so. Yes, I knew he was liberal. Harvard does not hire conservatives. Regardless, he damn sure knows the law and his being as upset as we are over this action of Mueller speaks volumes.
