ABC News has learned that Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, is recused from the Michael Cohen investigation.
Two sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News Berman was not involved in the decision to raid Cohen's office because of the recusal.

OK, I think I get it. Apparently, only Obama-appointed US Attys can be involved in any matter concerning Trump.

Except for Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein, they all appear to be Democrats.

So who approved the search warrant? One of the deep state lackeys?

The recusal was approved by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.Over and over again we see Rosenstein taking the action while Sessions is recused. Rosenstein is leading the DOJ on all Swamp matters.
All of the US Attorneys who are supposedly investigating the Swamp, Huber (Utah), Hiland (Arkansas), and Hur (Maryland), answer to Rosenstein.

Where is the REPUBLICAN PARTY standing up behind their president??Grassley today said that Trump shouldn't fire Trump, so if Grassley is saying that, we know that many of the GOPe in the Senate also agrees with that.

This is why you never hire a Republican for anything. Ever.
Jeff Sessions, for example.

Rosenstein and his henchmen in DoJ approved a helluva lot more regarding the Cohen search, including going ahead with the investigation, reviewing the affidavit for the warrant, and giving the go-ahead to procure the warrant from a judge. What is also disturbing is the routine manner in which judges/magistrates take the word of DoJ agents/lawyers and rubber stamp the issuance of search warrants. I do not believe for a second that searching the law offices/files of a President's personal attorney could be a routine matter handled exclusively in the SDNY U.S. Attorney's office. Andy McCarthy will certainly have a lot to say about this fiasco.
