I’m calling this the “Target rich environment” list.
My fellow Georgian
What is wrong with us? Only 40-50%? Those are rookie numbers! We need to get those numbers UP!
Here’s the state by state listing
ahahah
has my state as low - good.let ‘em think that. They have no clue about all the guns that have been handed down for generations. (Lotsa good ole ‘thutty-thuttys’ out there.)

Can someone elaborate? Where is the authority given to have a Federal firearms registry?
Oh, surely not!
Why would a decent, law-abiding, productive member of our society NOT want the Goobermint to know every gun one has?
I know I don't care if they know.
(Do I really need the sarcasm tag?)
Ha! Like they have a clue?
Delaware comes in last place? How can that be?
Delaware is called The First State ........ THE First State.
The 3 that ring hollow are Ohio and Nebraska, which seem too low, and the most preposterous is Hawaii at #11.
Hawaii is at 45%????? I find that unbelievable.
I’m In Illinois, and it’s just over 26%. If you take out Cook County (which includes, of course, Chicago), the number would be closer to 70%.
Hard to believe the stats....When I was a real estate appraiser, I entered many, many homes in both Oregon and Texas. Gun cases were common with multiple guns.
“...ATF’s National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record ...”
Isn’t this NOT NOT NOT supposed to exist?!?!?!?!?
Known for a long time that the new “form” is perforated so it can be separated and scanned.....
The Overton Window has not nudged but slammed...
KYPD
“Their survey, published in 2015, asked a representative sample of 4,000 adults nationwide whether they own firearms.”
Because when strangers contact me and ask me how many guns I have and where I keep them I quickly tell them everything I know.
And yet Alaska is turning purple on it’s way to being as blue as Washington state.
Business Insider has a more readable map:
http://www.businessinsider.com/gun-ownership-by-state-2015-7
In addition, although the report was published in 2015, the data come from 2013. It also seems to be anti-gun. This is from the abstract:
” Gun ownership was 2.25-times greater among those reporting social gun culture (PR=2.25, 95% CI 2.02 to 2.52) than those who did not. In conclusion, we found strong association between social gun culture and gun ownership. Gun cultures may need to be considered for public health strategies that aim to change gun ownership in the USA.”
If you want to pay, you can read the report here:

I am not sure about this list that says there are more gun owners in Minnesota than Texas.
I’m not buying that. Sorry...
She chimed in, asked us some dumb question about..."Well they are all registered. right?"
We both laughed..and told her "NO". Then explained to her about registration..etc.
Turned out...I wasn't there...wished I had been...but when Trump got elected..she came to work...and had a melt down. Screamed for no one to talk to her....LOL!!! The dumb ass snowflake..!!
I always miss the fun stuff...!!
