A military source details to Zaman al-Wasl the staggering arsenal provided to the Syrian regime Russia Stores Prohibited Weapons in Dumayr Airport Near Damascus

Russia has supplied the Syrian regime with highly advanced weapons and ammunition, including toxic gases, during its deadly offensive on the Eastern Ghouta suburbs, a military source told Zaman al-Wasl Sunday.

At this point I am not ready to think that Assad did the gas attack. It if far more likely the "opposition" (Jihadi's) did this. It fits the previous patterns of ISIS and al Qaeda. I don't know the source website, but suspect it is in fact ISIS or affiliate source. If that is so, it is like US media? Lies.

Note: I'm no fan of Assad or supporter of Iran or Russia.

Just speaking as “one” American, I guess I want my cake and eat it too. I would like to see Russia, Syria and Iran punished severely but at the same time we must face our overwhelming problems at home. A big war would be a distraction from that colossal effort. We need all our troops to arrest and incarcerate criminal democrats.

I can’t believe somebody posted an article, on this site, from a Syrian Islamist/Opposition group.

That takes the cake.

Bizarre.

"I would like to see Russia, Syria and Iran punished severely "

Punished for what, exactly? It's the Sunni 'moderates' who've been burning folks in cages, and running slave markets. It's the rebels that the UN found to be flagrant in their use of gas. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/21/world/middleeast/isis-chemical-weapons-syria-iraq-mosul.html/a>

Nobody in the ME is a saint, but Assad seems to have a far better record than the Sunni rebels. The slave markets of Libya and ISIS are all Sunni run, not Alawite or Shia. It was the Sunni rebels who burned folks in cages, crucified people, not the Shia or Alawite.

Let's wait for the worst devils to be dead before we attack those killing the worst devils.

.........well, I think gassing little kids, women and old men, i.e. non combatants, is the most heinous thing that can be done by humans to other humans ergo the perpetrators should be punished. On top of that I’ve read they blocked ambulances and medical personnel from helping the injured.

I think up to a dozen countries, led by the US are fixing to do just that............i.e. inflict some onerous military punishment.

Now, I agree with you that it does not seem that EXACT responsibility has been determined. So, nothing should happen until it is.
