Today's FBI raid signals that Mueller will be using the same tactics against President Trump as he did against Manafort and other targets. That includes going after privileged communications.
Does anyone doubt that he can find a friendly judge that will sign off on any abuse of power as long as it's directed against President Trump?
This needs to end. And it needs to end now.
Federal investigators on Monday searched the office, home and Manhattan hotel room of President Donald Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, seizing communications between the lawyer and his clients that cover topics including payments to the former porn actress known as Stormy Daniels, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Stormy Daniels has nothing to do with Russia. It has nothing to do with Russian collusion.
That's what Mueller was supposed to be looking into. Instead the Mueller investigation has been a witch hunt whose goal is to find something, anything. The special crisis that justified Mueller's appointment was supposed to be Russian election tampering. Instead this raid once again shows that the special crisis is Trump. And removing him from office through any means is the priority.
Mueller needs to be removed. This investigation needs to be shut down and replaced with a credible investigation into what the Russians actually did and didn't do, rather than a pretext for bringing down political opponents.
The Mueller witch hunt is just an extension of the eavesdropping conducted by Obama. It's the same set of goals being carried out in a more public forum.
President Trump needs to clearly and decisively shut them down, avoid any further cooperation or interaction with Mueller or his associates, and move on with rebuilding this country.

Mueller thinks that the Rule of Law and Constitutional restraints no longer apply to him, due to the political climate.

They are all hiding in the tall grass along with the Republicans in the House and Senate. You have to look far and wide to find a more cowardly bunch than the Senate and House GOP.
1. He can quit and walk away. The Left will despise him for not finding anything, and the Right will hate him for wasting millions.
2. Get himself fired. He' will still be a hero to the Left and go on book tours. The Right can't attack him for it was never really settled.
If Trump fires Obersturmbahnfuhrer Mueller the Congress will begin impeachment proceedings. The gutless GOP will close ranks with the ‘Rats just as they did against Nixon.
I say go for it, Mr. President. Let’s see if the American people have the guts to reclaim their country from the Deep State/Media cabal.

I have changed my mind. Mueller must be fired after his papers and electronic materials are seized by U.S. marshals.
Even though Mueller is begging to be fired. Even though, as Napoleon said, you should “never do what your enemy desires, for this reason alone, that he desires it”.
Even though I believe Ryan (Romney) and McConnell (Bush) are in on the coup, and are just waiting for Trump to do this.
All that is still true.
But I believe there is a (small) chance Trump survives in the Senate if the only charge is firing Mueller, and that, like with Clinton, that surviving a Senate trial will make him stronger for November, while if he waits for the false charges to be presented in detail with 24/7 media assistance up until November he will be convicted.
Of course, he has to fire Rosenstein and Sessions as well, and probably Wray, and probably Kelly, and live with the chaos - but allowing himself to be broken by Mueller is not something that the nation can survive.
Perhaps.
However, putting this in "football" terminology, it feels like it's them 41, us 0 in the third quarter, and we are thinking "any minute now our offense is going to kick in and start turning this thing around."
We have the witches conducting the witch hunt.
Every person involved in this raid from the boots on the ground and all the way up the ladder (no exceptions) should be FIRED.
This is an outrage.
