it went to the Trump Foundation, not the campaign. Trump didn’t ask for it; the person arranging the video appearance requested an ‘honorarium’ i.e., speaking fee, which is pretty normal practice when a person of note is invited to speak to a group. They also invited Blair and I forget who else spoke, in Ukraine’s effort to be accepted by ‘the west’.
